I'm a writer, living in Brooklyn with my husband and our three sons. We also have a cat called Patches.  He no longer goes by that name. He is The Wada and he tolerates our incompetence. The dog is more forgiving but more time consuming. 

 

One night I had a dream where my head was squashed and with my last breath, I said, to no-one in particular, "But I had things to say..." So here I am saying them.
